On Saturday, April 7, the fourth running of the Old Dominion Point-to-Point at Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Eastham’s Ben Venue Farm will take place. The course is located 16 miles west of Warrenton on Route 211.
A card of nine races will fill the day, starting at 11 o’clock with the Pair Race, (already well filled), 12:30 Junior Flat Race, 1:00 Ladies Race. At 1:30 p.m. begin the big hurdle and timber races including the Old Dominion Hunt Cup with points accruing toward the Seven Corners Trophy awarded to winningest Virginia Circuit Owner-Rider.
