Burke

William N. Burke, 85, of Harrisonburg, died Tuesday, March 20, 1979, in the Camelot Hall Nursing Home, Harrisonburg.

Graveside services were held Friday at the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisonburg, conducted by the Rev. Carl Sherman.

Mr. Burke, a former resident of the Shenandoah County area, was born January 6, 1894, near Sperryville and was a son of the late William and Nancy Jenkins Burke. He was a retired electrician and was a member of the Baptist Church but attended the Harrisonburg Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving with his widow, Thelma Burke, are a stepson, C. E. Summers of Harrisonburg, and a sister, Goldie Dodson of Frederick, Md.
