me ^umniunuy Advisory Committee of Planning District 9 of the Valley of Virginia held its spring meeting March 20 at the Culpeper Holiday Inn.

Representing the citizens of Rappahannock were Douglas Baumgardner of Washington, who was recently appointed to a two year term on the committee, and Pearl Clarke of Amissville, who has been serving since January.

The committee members assisted in finalizing a survey form that the Consortium will be mailing in the near future. According to Delores Dalton, Center Director for Planning District 9, the survey will be sent to approximately 2000 individuals who responded to the initial survey last spring. This includes many parents of children at the Rappahannock Elementary School.

This follow-up survey will be utilized to make a final selection of college credit
