personal funds. Candidate Marilyn Bailey listed a $50 balance from the 1975 commissioner of revenue campaign and expenses of $28.54 in this year's race. Ruth Grimsley, also a candidate for commissioner of revenue, reported campaign expenses of $26.40.
In the final countywide position, Frances Foster was unopposed for the officer of treasurer and reported expenses of $12 paid with personal funds.
Supervisor Races
Out of the candidates in five magisterial districts, E. P. Luke and Cecil Baldwin in Piedmont as well as H. B. Wood, Jr. in StonewallHawthorne and Clarence Baldwin in Hampton reported no campaign contributions or expenditures.
Sean Kilpatrick, candidate from Stonewall-Hawthorne, reported expenditures of $228.89 and contributions ofi $250 with $150 donated by James J. Kilpatrick.
In Wakefield District, incumbent Edwin “Butch” Eastham listed expenses of $82.40 and contributions from two sources for a total of $100. (Contributions of $100 or less do not have to be itemized.) Hubert Gilkey, winner of the Wakefield supervisor race, gave both expenditures and contributions as $80.
Candidate from Hampton District Ellen Manson also listed contributions equal to her expenditures of $25.
In Jackson District, unopposed incumbent J. R. Latham reported expenses of $19.28 paid for out of personal funds.
The final report on campaign spending in the November elections is due to be filed in early December.
