Yowell
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday for Samuel Menefee Yowell, 67, of Culpeper at the CJore Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Floyd T. Binns. Burial was in the Etlan Cemetery.
Mr. Yowell, the son of the late Wade H. and Cora Yowell, died Saturday, November 17, 1979 at the Culpeper Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was a retired farmer and employee of the state highway department.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Eastham Yowell of Culpeper; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Y. Willis of Lignum; 2 grandchildren; a step son, Dan K. Shackelford; two brothers, James H. Yowell of Charlottesville and Dutton E. Yowell of Etlan.
