The RappahannockRapidan Area Agency on Aging will have a worker available to assist people 60 years of age and older with applications for fuel assistance at their meals program location at Hampton Inn on November 26, 29 and 30 and December 3, 6 and 7 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to noon. After December 7 they will take applications each Monday during the same hours.
The elderly who can’t get to the meals program site, as well as families with children and other individuals, should apply directly t® the Welfare Department in Washington, Va. Their hours are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
