Now On Sale
Rappahannock County residents are reminded that county stickers are now on sale at the office of the county treasurer in Washington and the deadline for purchase of tags is May 1.
Sheriff W. A. Buntin advises residents to purchase their tags early, avoid the last minute rush and be sure to display the sticker. He added that there is just as much violation in not displaying the sticker as there is in not having purchased one. Be sure to scrape the old sticker off before applying the new one for there is a law governing windshield stickers, he added.
