Unexpected scheduling difficulties have caused the Community Concert Association to make a change in its schedule of artist appearances for the 19811982 season.
According to Mrs. Paul Frantz, the Rappahannock County membership chairman, the Empire Brass Quintet scheduled to appear in the fall of 1982. has been cancelled due to transportation difficulties. The William Carter Dance Ensemble has been substituted.
The Community Concert Association Board which selects the artists, while regretting the cancellation of the Empire Brass Quintet, has indicated its pleasure that the William Carter Dance Ensemble has been scheduled instead. The New York Times calls William Carter “one of the best dancers in American classic ballet. For that matter, he is one of the best dancers in the world".
