At no cost, the Culpeper sheriff's department currently dispatches four fire and rescue units as well as the sheriffs department in Rappahannock. With approximately $2,590 calls processed annually and dispatch service institute for two new Culpeper units, the fire and rescue association in the neighboring county recently asked Rappahannock to provide its own dispatch service as of July 1.
