Settle
Funeral services for James E. Settle of Columbia, Pa., were held March 14 at the Clyde W. Fraft Funeral Home Inc. in Columbia with burial in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens there.
Mr. Settle, 56, died Wednesday, March 11, 1981. He was employed by ITT Grinnell, was a veteran of World War II and a native of Rappahannock County. His parents were the late Silas G. and Carrie Settle.
Survivors include two sons, James R. Settle of Columbia and Raymond Settle of Bainbridge, Pa.; four daughters. Darlene Waltz, Helen Bayman, Jamie S. Settle and Janice E. Settle, all of Columbia; two brothers, Grover Settle and Albert T. Settle, both of Culpeper; five sisters. Miss Myrtle Settle, . Janie Settle and Mrs. Marie Brown, all of Culpeper, Mrs. Ella Rutherford of Castleton and Mrs. Nina Parker of Amissville and eight grandchildren.
