For the 16th year, Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal will be offering students in grades 7-12 an opportunity for a “Great Escape" this summer.
In the “Great Escape” program, students have the opportunity to earn advance credits towards graduation, to make up work they may not have done well in before or to strengthen their scholastic foundations.
In addition to academics, the six weeks schedule offers athletics of all kinds including swimming, tennis, softball, volleyball and basketball on campus and fishing, bowling and golf at nearby facilities.
Filed trips will also be planned to such areas as Washington, D.C., Williamsburg, Kings Dominion, Gettysburg and Thunderbird Museum.
The classroom portion of summer school will provide credit courses in English, math, social studies and science and non-credit courses in typing, reading, introduction to computers and a review of Scholastic Aptitude Tests (SAT's). all
