Dinner Plans
Plans are underway for Sursum Corda School and Day Care Center’s third annual spaghetti dinner to be held April 25 at the Trinity Episcopal Church parish hall in Washington from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
Diners will be served their choice of spaghetti with meat or veggie sauce and a tossed salad with French garlic bread.
School patrons and supporters are encouraged to see “Electric Horseman” at Magic Mountain Cinema in Washington after enjoying their spaghetti dinner Saturday night, April 25 or if more convenient on Friday the 24th. Show time is 8 o'clock and the film is sponsored by the Rappahannock Woman’s Gub, which will donate half of the profits from this event to Sursum Corda.
The school and day care center. a non-profit education and child care facility, is beginning its sixth year and is quickly outgrowing the present rental facility, with a need for a new structure. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit the building fund.
