RLEP Spring
Bam Dance
All is ready for the RLEP Spring Barn Dance. The committee, headed by Mitzie Young will be decorating the auditorium at Wakefield School this Friday in preparation for the big event. Square dancers, The Ralph Case dancers, will provide the music, calls, and lots of help. Local talent in the form of the Sperryville Spuds will play at intermission.
In addition, the committee has been hard at work getting local merchants to donate door prizes. Items that will be given out have come from B and B Garage, House of Dried Flowers, Country Manor Gifts, Parkway Gifts, Teepee Restaurant, Sperryville Emporium, Sperryville Exxon, Faith Mountain Herbs, and Nature’s Foods.
Tickets for the dance can be obtained at Peggy Clarks’ Rappahannock Realty in Flint Hill; Eileen Day Realty in Washington; Roger Batchelder, Washington; Sperryville Realty in Sperryville and at Country Store Properties in Washington. Tickets are $5 single or $8 a couple.
All proceeds will go to the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection.
