The Rappahannock County Mass Meeting to elect delegates to the Democrat State Convention will be held noon, April 25, 1981 in the Rappahannock Co. Court House (upstairs). Gay St.. Washington, Va. The doors of the Court House will be opened at 11:30 a m. and closed promptly at noon to any late comers. The State Democratic Convention will be held at 4 pm. May 29, 1981 thru May 30, 1981 in Virginia Beach primarily to nominate Democratic candidates for Governor, Lt Governor, and Attorney General. All Democrats who are registered voters in Rappahannock Co are urged to attend the Mass Meeting regardless of race, sex, age, religion or financial circumstances. No fee will be Charged for participating in the Mass Meeting. However, each participant must sign a certification form, stating that he or she is a registered voter in Rappahannock Co. and does not intend to support a candidate or candidates opposed to any Democratic nominee or nominees in the next ensuing general election or special election.

At the Mass Meeting Rappahannock Democrats will elect five delegates and two Alternates to the State Convention by secret ballot On the ballot will be the names bf those Kihnlhg for delegate, and betide each narhe will bte thB names of the GbvefHor, Lf.
