The cadettes received the highest honor possible in girl scouting with the first class status bestowed during the ceremony. Brownies and Junior Scouts entertained the girls with choral readings, songs and refreshments. Looking on is Mrs. Helmer, who is a girl scout leader as well as Debbie’s proud mother.
