means of a nonferrous metal tag bearing his name and address except when such traps are stored in the residence or out buildings belonging to the owner, tenant or lessee. This requirement shall not apply to any person transporting a newlypurchased trap or traps to his residence providing a sales ticket or bill of sale is in his possession.
Amend Regulation R2-11 to read as follows: The use of body gripping traps, measuring in excess of five and one-half inches wide, from outside of jaw to outside of jaw, shall be prohibited except that such traps may be used when covered with water at mean low water level. Nothing contained herein shall prohibit a landowner, tenant or lessee residing on land owned or controlled by him from setting body gripping traps exceeding five and onehalf inches but not exceeding seven and one-half inches on his land.
Regulation R2-12, restricting the use of above ground body gripping traps in excess of five inches, is hereby rescinded.
Add a new regulation to be numbered R2-14 to read as follows: It shall be unlawful to trap, or attempt to trap, on land any wild bird or wild animal with any deadfall or snare, other than foot snares with loops that are less than six and onehalf inches in diameter and with the snare loop set at or below ground level and horizontal to ground level.
CHAPTER 3. Bear. Amend Regulation R3-5. (a) and (d) to read as follows: (a) It shall be lawful to hunt bear with bow and arrow from the second Saturday in October through the Saturday prior to the first Monday in November, both dates inclusive.
(d) It shall be unlawful to use dogs when hunting with bow and arrow from the second Saturday in October through the Saturday prior to the first Monday in November, both dates inclusive.
