Looking back Ernie says that his years at RCHS weren’t the worst but he finds that they could have been a lot better. Ernie has his memories of basketball to cling to and his friends.
The Rappahannock Varsity Baseball team has a 1-3 record in games to date with a win on the home diamond against Randolph Macon Academy on March 15. The opener score was 2013.
The Rapps were defeated March 31 by Manassas Park 12-5 on the Manassas diamond and on April 3 they bowed to Madison County High. Warren County were victors in the April 6 home game.
Despite this record this team is trying. It is a very young team with two seniors aboard and every game is a new experience. Coach Edmonson told his players that he didn’t care what the score was or how many errors were made, that the important thing is to keep your head up and never give up trying.
