Mrs. John Metzger of Lorton was a luncheon guest Saturday of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke.

Mrs. H. M. Keyser returned home last Wednesday after spending a month in Jekeyll Island, Ga. She was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Nightengale of Williamsburg.

Mrs. Frances Thornton of Sperryville and Mrs. E. M. Jones with Mrs. Paul Thompson of Fork Union were guests Saturday of Mrs. Churchill Jones in Richmond and attended the play, “Something Afoot” at the Virginia Museum. They were overnight guests in the Thompson home.

Sunday afternoon guests of Mrs. Alice R. Wood were Mrs. Thomas Kendrick and Mrs. Gladys Bowie, both of Culpeper and Mrs. Paul Miller of Flint Hill.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alther and family of Sperryville and Mrs. Paul Burke were callers Sunday of Mrs. Gabe Burke.
