RICHMOND — Rappahannock will lose the services of Del. George P. Beard Jr. (RCulpeper) under a redistricting plan approved last week by the House Privileges and Elections Committee.
By an 18-1 vote, the committee adopted a plan that switches Beard into a single-member district of Culpeper and Fauquier counties, leaving Rappahannock to go into a new single-member district with Garke, Page and Warren counties.
