“There’s more to consider,” Rosson countered. It's more difficult to get emergency services personnel out in Rappahannock, therefore the amount of time spent by the dispatcher is greater. Rappahannock may account for only 20 percent of the calls but as much as 30 percent of the dispatcher’s time, he said.
