THE SCHOLARSHIP GIVEN ANNUALLY by the Rappahannock County Garden Club to a graduate of the local high school who will continue their education went this year to Paula Butler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul F. Butler of Boston. This is the Francis J. and Margaret W. Leonard scholarship of $1000, six hundred to be used this year and the remaining $400 the following year if they continue in school. Judith Bloomer received a $100 gift from the club as valedictorian. She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William Bloomer of Sperry ville.
