Bloomer told the board that he will have close to exact figures on the amount left in the current budget after payrolls and warrants are approved at the June 16 meeting. He noted, however, that there will at least be money enough to pay for the items he suggested which come to a total of $6,528.
Chairman Beverly Massie reminded the board members that they had agreed to return any unspent funds appropriated for gasoline to the supervisors, minus the cost of safety equipment for the high school shop- class. Bloomer estimated that the balance in the line item for gasoline will be around $25,000 before the cost of the “panic button” installation is subtracted.
