Little League
Play Resumes

After a two-week delay due to rain, Rappahannock’s Little League resumed play on Monday, June 8.
The Rappahannock Lions Club took on Bradford’s Store with Bradford’s winning by a score of 12 to 4. For the Lions, Butch Foster doubled with bases loaded to bring in two runs. The winning pitcher for Bradford’s was Walter Frye.
On the other field, Sperryville Exxon lost to Joe Williams Construction, 23 to 10.
4-H Meeting
Rappahannock’s 4-H Horse and Pony Club will meet on Friday, June 12, at 7 p.m. in the home of leader lane Naramore.
