Lt Commander and Mrs. Craig Welling, Judith Carter and Anne Katherine were guests from Saturday until Tuesday of Mrs. W. F. Moffett Jr. enroute to their new home at Virginia Beach. Guests Sunday of the Wellings and Mrs. Moffett were Mr. and Mrs. Page Moffett and Billy of Leesburg and Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett III, Holly and Melanie.

Mrs. Tom Lee is a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.

Bridge Party

Mrs. Dale Metzinger entertained the Sperryville Bridge Club Friday evening at her home.

Guests were Mrs. E. A. McNear, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. Frances Tabler, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. C. E. Johnson Jr., Mrs. W. H. Cordle, Mrs. T. J. Pillar and Mrs. Roy L. Reeve.

Prizes were won by Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Reeve, Mrs. Pillar and Mrs. Thompsen.

Flint Hill Picnic

The Flint Hill Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will sponsor a community picnic June 14 at 5 p.m. on the carnival grounds.

All Flint Hill residents are invited to attend and bring a covered dish.
