A rabid fox fought with a dog in the eastern section of Rappahannock County. In this case the exposed dog was protected by previous rabies immunization, but had to be quarantined for a 3 month period. No human exposure occurred in this incidence.
Rabies immunization clinics conducted by Warrenton veterinarians are scheduled to take place during the evening hours of June 18th for cats and June 19th for dogs. Further announcements will be made concerning these clinics.
