Tuesday on Route 522, Mary Brooke Massie of Washington was cited for improper passing when she collided with a farm vehicle which was turning into Aubrey North’s mill. The Massie vehicle, a ’72 Chevrolet, was totalled and the truck received minor damage, said Trooper Baines.

Operator of the truck, a ’64 Chevrolet, was Ronald Eugene Walter of Linden.

Wednesday morning on Route 522 in Flint Hill, Joseph W. Peregory of Front Royal operating a ’74 Caprice apparently fell asleep and ran through a fence on the property of Peggy Clark, according to Trooper Baines. Damage to the car was estimated at $300 and the driver was charged with reckless driving.
