Sealed proposals, in duplicate, for the ALDIE MILL RESTORATION, Aldie, Virginia, from pre-qualified firms will be received at the office of the VIRGINIA OUTDOORS FOUNDATION, 221 Governor Street, Richmond, Virginia, until 2.00 p.m. o’clock, local prevailing time, on the Proposal date given to all pre-qualified firms. The Proposals will be opened, read aloud, at 2:00 p.m. on the following day at the same location
Firms who wish to be considered for pre-qualification must submit evidence of qualification, list of work done, name of supervising field personnel who will be used if they are sue cessful in their bid, evidence of financial strength, and other supporting information by July 24, 1985, to the VIRGINIA J OUTDOORS FOUNDATION at the above address Exp r f
ence must include historic brick restoration and heavy timber | construction and restoration. •
The pre-qualification evaluation will consider the expet:- | ence and reputation of the Contractor, his location in relation to the site, his personnel who are to be assigned to this pro ject, the firm’s current work load, the financial condition ot the ! Contractor, and his method of completing the work. i
The qualifications will be investigated by the Director of j the VIRGINIA OUTDOORS FOUNDATION in any manner he deems appropriate. If he finds a firm not sufficiently qualified. ! he will notify the firm and give them not less than five (5) days to submit additional data after which his decision will be made The Director shall notify all submitting firms of his decision and the date established for acceptance of the Proposals to do the work. The Director's decision shall be final. i
