% THE PEACE OF GOD

| (Part II)

^ This week, lets look at scripture in I Peter y 5:7. it says, “Casting all your care upon Him 9 for He careth for you." This verse very dearly » shows us how much God really loves and y cares about us. because it is telling us to cast 0 ALL our cares, troubles, anxieties and proby lemsonHim.

God doesn't want his children weighed or

burdened down with cares or problems. He

wants us to be free from these things, and He

will take them from us if we will only, by faith,

give them over to Him.

The way we do this, we saw in last weeks

artide. Phil 4:6 says to pray and petition God

with thanksgiving. We make our request

known to God. Example: "Father, I come to

you in the name of Jesus. I have this heavy

burden and care on me. You said, in your

word, to cast them on you because you love 9 and care for me. Father, I now, by faith, cast y this care on you and I trust you to take care of X it. And I now thank you for your peace that 0 you give me in place of my problems and y cares. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen." S After having prayed this prayer in faith, 0 the peace of God will keep your heart and y mind. (Phil 4:7) This kind of peace surpasses

J understanding. Why? Because it is the de0 vine, supernatural peace of God. Not the y kind of peace the world offers; which isn't 9 lasting peace.

^ In John 14:27, Jesus speaks these wony derful words of comfort to us. “Peace I leave 9 with you, My peace I give unto you; not as Y the world giveth, give I unto you, let not your y heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." 0 There are so many wonderful scriptures on the subject of peace. y I urge you to search your bible to find 0 these great promises God offers His y children. I pray GOD'S PEACE be with you,
