Your best friend is a Realtor. You are about to sell your home. Should you list it with your friend or someone else? How do you go about this without hurting feelings?
Look at it this way: If you aren’t feeling well, do you select a doctor because he is a friend or because you feel he is the best qualified to treat your problem? Are you concerned that if you select another doctor you might hurt the feelings of the doctor you know?
The really good physician is too professional to have “hurt feelings” if a friend selects another physician.
This is also true of a Realtor. The really good Realtor is concerned only with using all his or her efforts to give the best service to his or her clients. Like a doctor, a good Realtor is too professional to have “hurt feelings”. Select the Realtor whom you believe can do the best job in selling yoOr home. Make this a completely objective, business-like decision.
