The firm of Q. Earl Yancey, CPA, PC, has been awarded a contract by Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, to provide personal financial counseling to military and civilian personnel at Elmendorf and geographically separated locations at Fort Richardson, Shemya, Galena and King Salmon.
The objective of the program is for employees, both military and civilian and their dependents, to be better informed and educated consumers as well as better managers of their personal finances through information, education and individual and group counseling. It is the task of the Warrenton firm to assure that this objective is carried out.
James Johnson of Anchorage, Alaska, has been named program manager for this project. The contract commenced on January 15 and includes a base year with a possibility of two one-year options.

Don’t forget — January 31 is the last day for wool and lamb producers to turn in their 1985 sales receipts and file an application for incentive payments at the Rappahannock County ASCA office.
Sales slips for wool should contain the month of shearing, month of sale, number of head shorn, pounds of wool (grease basis) and net proceeds. Sales slips for lambs must show the liveweight and state that the lambs were unshorn; also purchaser’s name and address and buyer’s code.

The 1986 calendar “Good Health Begins With Exercise,” which contains low-calorie, low-cost recipes, no-cost exercise plan, and dietary guidelines for better health, is now available.
