During General District Court on January 21, Judge Lynn found William Fred Abernathy and Linda Sue Heimstra guilty of marijuana possession.
Commonwealth Attorney Peter Luke said, “There was no evidence of intent to sell or distribute” the marijuana. The defendants were also prosecuted as first offenders.
The judge agreed to defer the case until January 22,1987, on condi- / tion of the defendants’ good behavior until that time. There was a court cost of $35.
