Angela Denise Jennings and James Floyd Lilly II were married Aug. 30 at Deer Haven, the home of the bride’s parents on the Browntown Road in Front Royal.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry F. Jennings and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra W. Henry of Stephens City and Mrs. Pearl Jennings of Bentonville.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Floyd Lilly Sr. of Chester Gap. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Albert Williams of Chester Gap and Mrs. Maude Lilly of Bunker Hill, W.Va.
The Rev. B. L. Lock officiated at the garden wedding and Paul Beardmore provided the music.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a formal length gown of white crystal organza with a fitted bodice accented with seed pearls and sequins and short puffed sleeves trimmed with ruffles. The bouffant skirt had a Schiffli embroidered appliqued ruffled flounce at the hemline and on the multi-ruffled cathedral length train.
The bride wore a derby hat covered with satin and lace, trimmed with pearls and a silk floral spray with a crystal veil and pouff. She carried a cascade bouquet of white freesia, auratum lilies and baby’s breath. Accenting her bouquet were a spray of white seed pearls and satin chedia loops and ivy foliage with a removable corsage in the center.
Angela Lilly, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Karen Bowling of Front Royal and Laura Pope of Wilmington, N.C.
