The program will include discussions on the nature and use of ground water, quality issues, protection issues, local government tools, and the impact on ground water of landfills, septic systems, con-. struction, and fertilizers.
Waldon R. Kerns, Virginia Tech Extension specialist in charge of the program, said that since there is no charge for the seminar, arrangements are being made for a "Dutch treat” luncheon.
