Volunteers of the Hospice of the Rapidan are serving as caregivers for terminally ill persons in your community . . . our service area includes Rappahannock, Culpeper, Madison and Orange^eounties. We don’t wear distinctive clothing, but maybe you have seen us wearing our small dolphin lapel pin, depicting our Hospice logo.
Our services are free, but our rewards are great. Perhaps you recognize us by the glow in our faces for our joys are great as we work with the terminally ill and their families.
Four years ago we were the “new kid on the block” and we had to explain our organization whenever we introduced ourselves as being from the Hospice of the Rapidan.
