The movie Hoosiers will be playing at the Gay Street Theatre on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 23 and 24. Starring Gene Hackman, Dennis Hopperwand Barbara Hershey, this is a rousing work of hoops and hoopla with Gene Hackman as the come-back coach who takes his backwoods ball team to the Indiana state championships in 1951. Dennis Hopper co-stars in his Oscar-nominated role of Shooter. A heartwarmer in the tradition of Rocky and The Natural. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children. The movie is rated PG.
