invited the 'visitors for a swim at their home in Boston. Va. Saturday evening there will be private dinner parties hosted by Bill and Mitzie Young, Frank and Daphne Hutchinson and Charles Russell.
We are not able to assign guests to host families because we do not know what the requirements of the Russians may be. For example, one visitor per family may not be acceptable to the Soviet officials who are coordinating the v isit.
At this time we have no information about the names, ages, gender or interests of our guests; only that 10 Russians will indeed be visiting ^Rappahannock. The Center' for Soviet-American Dialogue is apologetic for being so vague, and we expect more information by next week.
The host families who have so generously offered their homes, their time hospitality are aware that they must be on stand-by and that they will be contacted as soon as we have more information. In fact, were happy to say that there have been more offers of hosts than there are guests available.
There will be additional details from the Center — We hope in time for publication next week - and' don't forget to wave to anyone you see wearing a fur hat!
