l ^re-school screening offered 1 S The Rappahann^k County Public Schools will conduct developmental screening assessments for children age five and under at RCES from Sept. 19-23, from TO a.m. to 3 p.m. The screening is also offered to school-age children with suspected learning or developmental disorders. Parents of children whom they suspect to be developmentally delayed in crawling, walking, language, or may have problems with vision, speech or hearing, are urged to bring the child in for this free assessment. Testing takes approximately two hours. For more informaion, call the elementary school (987-8259).
Dawkins to attend rally
The Rappahannock County Republican Committee is planning a rally at the Washington fire hall on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 4-6 p.m. Among the invited < guests will be U. S. Senate candidate Maurice Dawkins, Seventh District Congressman D. French Slaughter Jr., and State delegate Raymond R. (Andy) Guest Jr. The committee invites the public to attend the rally and meet the party's candidates for ; these offices. Refreshments will be served.
Hunter safety course offered
A hunter education course will be offered in Rappahannock County on Sept. 14,15, and 16, from 6-9:30 p.m. at the <. high school.
