Recycling day bept. 1/ RALLY will hold its first community recycling day on Saturday, Sept. 17. Fire school in Amissville The Rappahannock County Fire and Rescue Association will sponsor its annual “Fire School” at the Amissville VFI) on Sept. 10-11 and 17-18. Coppage reunion The family of the late George and Florence Coppage wjll bold their reunion on Sunday, Sept. 11 at the Rappahannock Park, Rt. 211, Washington. Basket workshop at Middle St. A basketweaving workshop will be held at Middle Street Gallery in September. The three-session class will be devoted to completing a bushel-style basket with wild grapevine handles and reed. Twinning and plain weave will be presented. Beginners and advanced. Fee is $48 and includes all materials. The class will run Tuesday evenings, 7-9:30 p.m. Sept. 20 and 27 and Oct. 4. Pre registration is required. Settle reunion The Settle family reunion will be held on Sunday, Sept. 18 at the Rappahannock Park near Washington. Relatives and friends are urged to attend and bring a covered dish and beverage.
Baldwin family reunion The Baldwin family reunion will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Ruritan Shelter at Lake Arrowhead, Luray. Dinner w ill be served at 2 p.m. Special activities have been planned for the entire day. All relatives and friends are urged to attend.
Harvest Moon Festival Sept. 25 Celebrate the arrival of autumn at an outdoor festival of the psychic, healing and creative arts. There will be food, entertainment, activities for kids and fine arts and crafts; as well as a variety of spiritual practitioners who w ill talk about their work and help others. The festival will be held at Horseshoe Hills on Rt. 211 west of Sperryville from 11 a.m. until dark.
