This is the week the visiting committee, made up of teachers and administrators from other Virginia schools, is evaluating Rappahannock County Elementary School.
The committee arrived Tuesday and will depart Friday afternoon after making their report available to the school staff.
In preparation for this visit the elementary school staff has written a 192 page report, plus appendices, called a Self Study, evaluating the strength and weaknesses of every aspect of the school. Much of the report responds to specific questions prepared by state accrediting agencies. Most teachers worked on two committees which prepared portions of the report.
