Nancy Joe Bacom and Jeffrey Todd Williams were united in marriage on December 30, 1989 at Grace Methodist Church in Keyser, W. Va.
Rev. David Peters officiated the evening candlelight ceremony.
Mrs. Harriet Peters was organist and Forrest D. Cosner, uncle of the bride, was soloist.
Forrest Wayne Sanders, cousin of the bride, was the acolyte.
The mothers of the bride and groom lit the candle from which the couple lit the unity candle. The couple then presented the mothers with a white long stemmed rose.
The altar of the church was graced with candleabras with live pine.
The flowers at the altar were red poinsettias and white roses with live pine. A flower arrangement of poinsettias and roses was placed on the piano in memory of the bride’s grandmother, Katherine Cosner and her aunt, Kathy Sanders. The flowers in the santuary were arranged as a gift to the couple by Eddie Right.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bacom of Keyser, W. Va. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Williams of Chester Gap.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a long white satin dress. It featured a jewel neckline with a lace inset to the bodice. The long sleeves featured a full puff satin sleeve with a net lace and satin ribbon trim tapering at the wrist. The full skirt fell from a basque .waistline extending to a chapel train in the back. The bottom of the dress formed satin scallops and Alecon lace ruffles of rose buds in the front.
The bride’s bouquet was a cascade of white roses and red tea roses. Her jewelry consisted of a necklace which belonged to her late
