At the Rappahannock Point-to-Point March 3, Charles Cornwell’s Dr. Blase with Greg Ryan galloped to yet another open hurdle victory, making it two in a row at Rappahannock and two in a row for the season. E Henry Wood’s Topeador followed suit, coming well off the pace in an eight-horse field to score yet another Seven Corners timber victory.
