CALL FOR RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY
REPUBLICAN MASS MEETING
I, John L. Marocchi, Chairman of the Republican Party of Rappahannock County, pursuant to the Party Plan, do hereby issue a call for a Mass Meeting of all members or prospective members of the Republican Party of Rappahannock County, to be held at the Court House, Washington, Virginia, on Friday, March 23, 1990, at 8:00 o’clock p.m., local time. The purposes of the Meeting area:
1. To elect six Delegates and six alternates to represent Rappahannock County Republicans at the Seventh District Republican Convention to be held in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Saturday, May 12, 1990, at 10:00 o’clock a.m., local time, for the principal purposes of (a) nominating a candidate for the House of Representatives to represent the Seventh Congressional District of Virginia; and, (b) electing a District Chairman.
A registration fee of $10.00 is required for each Delegate and alternate to the Convention.
2. To elect the Rappahannock County Unit Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer for a term of two years.
3. To elect Members of the Rappahannock County Republican Unit Committee for terms of two years.
4. To transact such other business as may properly come before the Meeting.
All legal and qualified voters under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, religion, color, national origin or sex, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who, if requested, express in open meeting, either orally or in writing as may be required, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its Mass Meetings, Conventions or Primaries in their respective districts.
