Any person desiring to comment in writing on the application may do so by directing such comments lo the Clerk of the Commission as provided below Any person desring lo make a statement at the public hearing, either for or against the application, need only appear in the Commission's Courtroom at 9.45 am. on the'day of the hearing and identify himself or herself to the Bailiff as a public witness.
On or before April 25,1990, any person desiring to participate as a protestant, as defined in SCC Rule 4 6. shall file an original and twenty (20) copies of a notice of protest as pro vided by SCC Rule 5:16 (a), and serve a copy on Company's counsel, Philip J. Bray, Esquire, The Potomac Edison Company, The Potomac Edison Company Building, Downsville Pike, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740 and upon all protestants
Any person who expects to submit evidence, cross-examine witnesses or otherwise participate in the preceeding as a protestant. pursuant to SCC Rule 4:6 shall file, on or before May 2, 1990, an original and twenty (20) copies of protest with the Clerk of the State Corporation Commission, c/o Document Control Center, P.0 Box 2118, Richmond, Virginia 23216, referring to Case No. PUE900009, and shall simultaneously serve a copy therof upon Company's counsel. Philp J Bray, Esquire. The Potomac Edison Company. The Potomac Edison Company Building, Downsville Pike, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740 and upon all protestants. The protest shall set forth (i) a precise statement of the interest of the protestant in the proceeding; (ii) a full and clear statement of the facts which the protestant is prepared to prove by competent evidence; and (iii) a statement of the specific relief sought and the legal basis therefor. Any corporate entity that wishes to submit evidence, cross-examine witnesses or otherwise partiepate as a protestant must be represented by legal cousel in accordance with the requirements of Rule 4:8 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure.
On or before May 2, 1990, each protestant shall file with " the Commission an original and twenty (20) copies of the prepared testimony and exhibits the protestant intends to present at the May 30, 1990 hearing and shall simultaneously serve a copy upon the Company's cousel and upon all protestants.
Any party partiepating as a protestant should review the instructions regarding discovery set forth in the Commission order in this proceeding dated February 20.1990.
