Yancey Ford
Yancey William Ford, 76, of Brightwood, died Thursday, July 2 at his residence.
Mr. Ford was bom Dec. 1, 1915 in Madison, the son of the late Jacob Cameron and Lillie Clore Ford.
He was retired from OrangeMadison Co-op and was a member of Bethsaida United Methodist Church in Brightwood.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Aubrey G. Ford and George Nelson Ford.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Rigsby Ford; one son, Yancey W. Ford Jr. of Winston Salem, N.C.; one daughter, Catherine (Kitty) Lohr of Rochelle; two brothers, Jacob D. Ford of Riverdale, Md. and Joseph A. Ford of Madison; four sisters, Rebecca Ford Jenkins of Culpeper, Annie Ford Weaver of Burnt Tree, Va., Mary Ford Utz of Aroda and Juanita Ford Settle of Amissville; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Saturday, July 4 at Bethsaida United Methodist Church in Brightwood
