Charles Allen Brown, 27, of Sperryville, faces charges of rape, lodomy and abduction resulting Tom an incident during the late eve* ling of June 30 and early morning of fuly 1, according to Sheriff John denry Woodward.
Woodward said the alleged rape Kcurred off Route 231 in the F.T. Galley outside Sperryville. Brown ind a 16-year-old girl were allegedly irinking on private property there, and Brown raped and soidomized the girl, according to a report filed by Maj. Ed Streapy of the Sheriffs Office.
The abduction charge, Woodward added, stems from the allegation that Brown held the girl against ler will until he fell asleep, when she escaped.
