It also greatly increases the earning potential of a restaurant. Once Messr. Loiseau had received his third star, his clientele nearly doubled.
Messr. Loiseau visited here with his wife, Dominique. This was his first trip to the United States.
Before serving lunch to the press, he cooked lunch for Mattie Ball Fletcher, who is 105 years old and lives one block from The Inn. The Inn has been delivering lunch to Mrs. Fletcher for several years. The Loiseaus personally delivered the lunch to Mrs. Fletcher, along with Patrick O’Connell, Reinhardt Lynch, Inn employee Beverly Burke, and a few members of the press to document the event.
After visiting with Mrs. Fletcher for a short while, everyone returned to the kitchen at The Inn to check on sauces, etc. for the luncheon.
