Carrie Newcomer

Carrie Newcomer, 78, of Gaithersburg, Md., formerly of Rappahannock County died Feb. 14 at Montgomery General Hospital in 01ney, Md.

She was the daughter of the late Samuel and LouElla Newcomer.

She is survived by a sister, Susie Woodward of Amissville and lots of nieces, nephews and friends. She lived with two nieces Essie Mae and Pearl.

Funeral services were held Feb. 16 at Money-King Funeral Home in Vienna with the Rev. C.R. Woodard and Rev. William Tatem officiating. Interment was at Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Viewtown.

Mary Brown

Mary Eleanor Brown, 39, of Washington died on Sunday, Feb. 27 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Mrs. Brown was bom June 12, 1954, in Fredericksburg.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband of 11 years, Timothy Wayne Brown; five sons, Shane Anthony Lambert of South Carolina, Christopher Wayne Brown, Bruce Adam Brown, Brian Scott Brown and Buster Derick Brown, all of Washington and two daughters, Nicole Lee Brown and Samantha Jean Brown, both of Washington.

She is also survived by her parents, John Hunter and Mary Jean Lambert of Warrenton and a grandfather, Samuel A. Bauchman of Dumfries.
