Ms. Hoffman said that some serious work will have to be done on the house. The septic and well have checked out. She said the house will be renovated and added to. f) BZA member Jimmy Swindler said, “My only concern was the driveway. It seems like the homeowners are as concerned as we are.” A drawing of changes to be made to the property show that the driveway will be moved northeast of where it is now, at the Virginia Department of Transportation’s recommendation. It is now on a curve, which can be a dangerous situation. Ms. Hoffman also stated that there is plenty of parking, and it will be screened from the road. She hopes to open the bed and breakfast this fall.
The BZA’s representative to the Planning Commission, Sid Gottlieb, remarked that he only wants to be on the Planning Commission for one more year. “I think the same people have been fon the Planning Commission for long enough,” he said.
