This year’s Virginia State Income Tax return again* allows Virginians to donate their tax refund to1 a special fund that pays for transportation for over 500,000 Virginians who cannot drive because of age or disability.
Contributions made on Line 27-i of the state tax form go to the Specialized Transportation Incentive Fund. The Fund has awarded grants totaling almost $200,000 to area agencies on aging and other .human service organizations to serve both elderly an disabled people in many of the 100 counties and cities without public transportation.
