He showed slides of development around Orlando and Anaheim. He said the promised jobs may mean higher unemployment. Prince William has very low unemployment now, he said. But people will be attracted to move into the area by the promise of jobs. “You may have a new wave of footloose people who came for jobs,” he said. “That has been a significant problem in Orlando and Paris.”
He also said many people expect land values to increase because of the Disney development, but that may not happen. He said there is lot of land on the market around Orlando that is not selling. He said there have been “three waves of bankruptcies.” i
